Prayer Departments

Shekinah Bible Baptist Church is organized into key departments to serve its community, including Worship, Youth, Outreach, Discipleship, and Education. Each department provides focused ministries: Worship leads services; Youth empowers the next generation; Outreach connects with the community; Discipleship nurtures spiritual growth, and Education fosters biblical knowledge and Christian living.

Prayer department is responsible for leading the church and the congregates in prayers as well as praying for the sick, the community and other important spiritual matters . The prayer department is actively involved in prayers for :-

Our People: Pray for our people to love God and one another. Pray that they read the Bible, pray, fellowship, and join ministry to serve God.
Our Community: Pray that jobs and sources of income are created for our congregation. Pray that God lifts the community and that all work of the enemy in the shrines and false gods will end.
Our Children: Pray that God supplies their needs. We want to see 200 more children sponsored in 2020-2012
Our Leaders: Pray for love and unity among our leaders, and that God would help them be good shepherds. Pray also for more full-time leaders and volunteers to rise up and for God to provide a way for these people to be taken care of. We have an administrator, janitor, and security person but would love to expand our staff.
Our Land: Pray that God allows our land to grow so we can have space to build schools, for Bible study, other ministry, parking, etc. We believe God can help us get the land surrounding the church.

The Love for the Children

The church has been supporting the less fortunate kids in Kisumu majority of whom are orphaned by HIV AIDS. Thank you for considering donating to Kisumu Orphans ! Donations: You can donate goods for needs such as clothing food, building materials, tools, household goods, furniture, school /office materials, medical supplies, sports/ musical equipment and more. Or contact us to find out our most pertinent needs.

Financial Contribution: If you consider making a one time, monthly or annual financial gift to us. You can designate money towards a specific project, or give a general gift to be used for our everyday expenses and needs.
