Shekinah Bible Baptist Church

We are found in Oyugis- Kenya.

At Shekinah Bible Baptist Church we are to equip, send, and shepherd our members and those who desire to be members of our local church to make disciples of all nations by means of evangelism, discipleship, church planting and strengthening, leadership training and evangelistic outreaches unto the glory of God through Jesus Christ.

The mission of the church was articulated by Jesus Christ in the Great Commission, to make disciples of all nations unto the glory of God through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18–20). The book of Acts and the epistles of the New Testament demonstrate that this disciple-making endeavor is carried out through the ministry of the local church (Acts 2:43–47; 9:31; 11:26; 14:23; 1 Timothy 3:15).

DEPARTMENTS

Shekinah Bible Baptist Church is organized into key departments to serve its community, including Worship, Youth, Outreach, Discipleship, and Education. Each department provides focused ministries: Worship leads services; Youth empowers the next generation; Outreach connects with the community; Discipleship nurtures spiritual growth, and Education fosters biblical knowledge and Christian living.

MINISTRIES

Shekinah worship center hierarchy contains ministries. Each ministry is headed by an appointed leader who in turn appoints ministerial leaders and members. Church members are encouraged to support the ministries for them to function well.

” is to create an environment where Jesus Christ can through the Holy Spirit build His church – a local body of born-again, Bible believers who will obey the Lord Jesus Christ and do the work of the Lord while caring for one another and reaching lost souls.”Our Goal: “is to equip God’s church with the word of God through preaching, teaching and discipleship so that we will multiply disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ until He returns for us in glory” !Our Motto: ” is the local church’s responsibility to train up men and women for full-time and lay service, and to plant churches and send out missionaries to the end that we might reach the whole world for our Lord Jesus Christ.”This is our time in Church History!

What We Believe

We are a Church prepared to meet Jesus Christ.
We are believers who’s desire is to make manifest the Love of GOD through Christ Jesus.
We proclaim the gospel of true repentance, salvation and Jesus who heals.
We reach with gospel missions and partner with both local and international friends/partners and churches and ministries.
We care for the needy that includes: orphans, the widows, the poor and the aged elderly.
We plant churches, hold revival meetings, conferences, conventions and crusades.
We hold evangelistic outreaches and training.
We train and equip the local pastors and local church workers who’re in ministry in Kenya and Africa and around the world

The Love for the Children

The Church

Our lives desired goal is to pray and to mobilize the world for Christ, Equip and Raise the already Commissioned priest as we continue to keep prophetic altars that will serve, lead and watch the nation, speaking to the church and build a family of prayer warriors and worshipers.
